if you dont have a case, use cardboard to shield the sides until your can get some plexi cut. enclosing the printer is one of the best ways to stop warp. Now if it straight up isnt sticking, first clean the bed with some isopropy alcohol. If it still doesnt stick your ztab is probable to low.

I've posted this in the help forum:
HI, I'm attempting to set up my Solidoodle 3 for the first time.
I've installed Revetier and it seems to work.
I imported a stl file that I made in Maya.
ran it through Slicer
I thought I had the printer connected. The Connect button turned green.
When I hit Run Job, I can follow everything in the Manual window and it seems that Revetier thinks it's printing
but
I have not seen the printhead move yet.
The fans are on and it smelled warm but no movement.
I feel that this is a simple overlook on my part but really can't figgure it out.
Please help a noob get going.

Great, happy printing. I have had three great prints so far with no problems except print removal. I'm using abs glue (bits of filiment disolved in acetone) sprayed lightly on print area. Prints do not warp or come off easily, have to let cool first. No warping has occured at all, only the brim I printed lifted up some, but not the model itself.

Hi doodlers, I'm just setting up my Solidoodle 3 today.
I've already ran into a problem...

I've installed Repetier and imported a stl file.
I then ran the slicing button, which is still going at 23:45 as I type.
But, since the directions on the website seem to be for older software,
I can not figure out how to "reverse" the stock 3" filament from the extruder head... can anyone help me out?

Am I missing software or is it all done through Repetier?

Thanks,
John
