I did use the talcum powder technique to knock down the gloss, and make the black bumpers, top, and tires visible.&nbsp; </p><p>I&#039;m quite pleased with the results so far.&nbsp; The Atlas3D seems to have picked up the details nicely.&nbsp; I&#039;m continuing to refine settings, lighting, etc.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Yes, I&#039;m still working in this area but I haven&#039;t had a chance to devote a lot of time to it yet.&nbsp; I first tried adjusting the focal distance of the 8MP camera to all close as possible and then using a shorter frame in order to increase the relative object size on the sensor.&nbsp; This seems to help, but the results are still not what I would like.&nbsp; The main problem I&#039;m facing is accurately and consistently choosing the center of the laser line with these very small objects.&nbsp; I plan on experimenting with another laser, the Pi NOIR camera, and to see what software changes can be made that will help.</p><p>- Uriah</p>]]></description>
