But until the printer arrives, all I can do is wait!</p></blockquote></div><p>Welcome to the group.&nbsp; Ya, until you get the printer all you can do is read these and other forums for problem fixes, ideas, etc.&nbsp; oh and of coarse learn the slicing software.&nbsp; There are lots of little tricks with some of them and some are better for certain models.&nbsp; I would install Repetier host if you haven&#039;t already from the developers site, then use the solidoodle blog to input a good starting point settings for both Slic3r and Skeinforge.&nbsp; Then download Cura and KISSlicer and give them a shot.&nbsp; You will see the differences on all of them.</p></blockquote></div><p>Yup, I&#039;ve been toying around with the settings and slicing things with Slic3r for the past 2-3 weeks. I&#039;d like to get started with the new slicers this week, but I&#039;ll probably put that behind drawing things up in inventor, for now at least.</p>]]></description>
