I had to reassign new port of higher number like 24 so new plugins dont steal what they see as a vacant port. USB, PDA sync devices etc do this alot

BUT if i have the boot jumper on it will make a connection sound when i plug it in my computer but still wont pop up on the ports list in driver manager. any thoughts? cant figure how to get this back online now...
