You're right YSB told me the same thing this AM. Use USPS
As long as the packaging takes the USPS abuse....I don't need the original box!
I will be doing mainly soft wood like pine and a bit of hard wood . I will be doing things like adress signs, and eventually evolve to something more sophisticated...I have seen pretty neat stuff on Vectrix and shopbot. I don't plan to do aluminum, but who knows!

use USPS to ship to canada.. not fedex nor DHL.. they add their FEE on the custom FEE..

Shipping to Canada is not a problem. We would use either Fedex or USPS for shipping, whichever is cheapest. We could use another service if you like. We do accept paypal payments. The controller is included. It is a GRBL Shield from synthetos with an arduino UNO. A 24v power supply is included as well.

We are located in Vermont and I see that YSB is in Quebec so unless customs stops something shipping should be rather quick.

I am doing a bit of spring cleaning and simply do not need the shapeoko. It is a great machine capable of cutting everything I have asked it too (Aluminum, acrylic, MDF, balsa, and more). The machine was recently used very briefly but it has not been used heavily. I hope it can find a home where it will be put to work creating amazing things. It comes with everything including a power supply, arduino uno/grbl shield combo. All the buyer needs is endmills and a power cord. The motor wires are shielded with quick disconnects on the ends and plugs on the motors. The MDF wasteboard is not included. Item will need minor assembly when it arrives.

Modifications include:

(New) Dewalt 611 router
1 Meter long makerslides in X and Y directions.
Double X axis makerslides for added rigidity.
X axis cable chain
Dual drive Y axis
Custom Y endplates (Cut by this machine from 6061 .250" Aluminum)
GT2 Pulleys and belts on Y axis (X axis still has stock MXL belt/pulley)
