For the titan e3d Nema 17 pancake motor

Wire Code using the xyz davinci wire harness

1) RED
2) Blank
3) Orange
4) Yellow
5) Blank
6) Blue

It looks like you kept the 4-pin connector that came with the pancake - did you just put the exposed ends into a 6 pin molex header or is there some cleverer way to mate things up?

The titan got a 3:1 gear that is correct but 3 x 13 is only 39 Ncm - that is just 1Ncm more than the stock motor that got 38 Ncm!

When I would have the chance to tripple my extruder torque I would use this chance and not give it up by changing to a smaller motor! But this is just my opinion - if this small motor works for you purpose it's good!

13Ncm is very low for the extruder and I will forcast a lot of issues with extruder clicking!

To answer the above, as the Titan as a 3:1 gearing, you only need 1/3 of the torque so 13Ncm should be sufficient

You say the filament extrudes slower? Have you calibrated the stepper motor, stock Extruder steps are around 99.00, with the Titan this raises to around 456.00. This needs to be changed in Repetier.

The XYZ stock stepper motor got 38Ncm and you want to change to a 13Ncm motor - I can't imagine any reason??? Even with the stock motor I have trouble with too less torque when printing at lower temperatures and I'm thinking about changing to a higher torque motor than the stock type!

The first step succeeded, the wiring is correct and I was able to load filament without any issues. I ordered the wrong connector so I made a hack jumper for now. I will try and print something later on today and see how it goes, it regard to torque, I too did not think too much about that. One thing I did notice is that filament did not extrude from the nozzle as fast as it did, it may have just been me....I will video it and see what you guys think.
