The blue ones came just after I got mine.  If the serial starts with 3F10A then you have a 1.0a.  I don't believe there are any major differences other than color but I have not been keeping up with any changes they may have made on the 1.0A.

However there are some early 1.0A that are grey as well. You have to look at your serial number and see if it has an A in the first 5 characters to see if your grey model is an 1.0 or 1.0A. The blue however should always be a 1.0A. The 1.0 was never released in the blue flavor.
