			<description><![CDATA[<p>I printed a companion cube on our R-530 printer at .05mm and .14mm layer heights. The difference between the two is really noticeable but it did take much longer. I can&#039;t imagine ever needing to reduce the layer height below .1 other then to see if its possible.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I am trying .02 now on my CT&#039;c which is the same as a Wanhao. I&#039;ll let you know how it comes out as a 20mm cal cube is going to take many hours. According to Simplify3d the projected time for a .02 layer 20mm cal cube is 10 hours and 20 minutes. Thats with a 20% infill.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Most Z lead screws would be able to handle 20 micron theoretically; one of the more standard screws is 8mm x 1.25 pitch.&nbsp; With 1/16 micro stepping the resultant steps / mm would be 2560.&nbsp; 1mm / 2560 = .00039mm per step...so about 50 steps would give you 20 micron.</p><p>BUT, this assumes that the structural integrity of the entire Z platform can handle this accuracy...</p><p>Beside that 1/32 on the extruder motor coupled with a 0.9 Stepper Motor and a HobGoblin might give the extrusion control necessary. </p><p>Bear in mind this is 5 TIMES a smaller layer height than .1...even smaller prints could take hours!&nbsp; I think I&#039;ll stick with .1 when necessary...</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I have yet to see an FFF type printer claim to do this. Do you have link to one? I would like to check one out. I doubt microstepping would help much in the Z. It is usually used on the X and Y to make things more round and smoother at the cost of torque.</p>]]></description>
