I have not played with it as an infill, so I cannot confirm or deny any strength or time claims for infill. But for first/last patterns, it takes longer but seems stronger than rectilinear in comparison.

Leaves a very appealing top/bottom layer pattern as you can see in the first object, and the infill looks pretty good on the second object. The infill is at 30% I believe, and would look pretty good using transparent filament.
