I was running the bed-leveling wizard (Simplify3D). The head ran over to the opposite corner and crashed right up against the frame and chattered for a second before moving to the first corner to begin levelling. I adjusted the bed and the head returned to Home.

But now, the head won't move EXCEPT when I Start he bed-leveling wizard, it Homes All. However, clicking Next (to continue the bed leveling), it does nothing . I can manually move the head out over the bed and start the leveling wizard and it does Home All, xyz, just fine.

Also, when I Jog Controls, all the motors ignore me, X,Y and Z. I fired up Repetier, same behavior. No motors after the initial Home All. I clicked Enable Motors, no benefit.

Both heaters work. Both thermistors are reporting but the Extruder thermistor is intermittent, depending on movement. It's a loose connection.

If I heat up the extruder and try to extrude, the motor doesn't respond.

The xy and z mechanisms all move freely manually.

I have rebooted the printer (even shorting the Boot pins), rebooted the PC. It connects fine to the printer.

Just, no motors after Home All. And the extruder thermistor is intermittent. Even when the extruder thermistor is reporting correctly, I still have no motors.

What have I done? Why do the motors all go dead after Home All?
