Do you know why they added the relief on the right side instead of using a bearing or a bushing?  I've got a good idea, but I'm wondering if there is some other reason.

I have designed a new X carriage to hold a single E3d.  I don't know if I will redesign y carriages or not.  The big difference is the Workbench uses 10mm rods while Lawsy's carriages are for 8mm rods.  The spacing is different as well.

If there's enough demand I may decide to rehash Lawsy's carriages for the workbench.

Will Lawsy's carriages fit a workbench?  I know the workbench is setup differently on the right side with the rollers.  My rollers have about 1/8 of an inch of clearance, which seems like they knew they could never get the thing dialed in.  I want to give Lawsy's carriages a try, but that's a lot of time and filament for nothing if they just don't work.
