I loosened my belts and no more binding or loud sound when moving my X. Man, all this time I thought I was properly checking my belts, when I was too tight the whole time.

If in doubt, print a circle and look for dents around 0 degrees and 180 degrees (left and right side), that will tell you if your X axis is experiencing backlash.

Ahhh Ok! I shall try that. I honestly was never 100% on how tight was too tight or too loose from watching the belt tension videos

But when I ran a test cube print. Nothing but constant binding. And now it binds when I control it in RH. Same as before but here is a vid of the sound it makes.

I set my VREF all the way do and keep turning it up but even at max it doesnt move. I double checked all my belts too

So I just noticed that when I try to move my X to the right and doesnt move it says "echo:endstops hit: X:-30.90"

But its in the center no close to the endstop.

This may sound stupid, have you tried adjusting your belts? Particularly the y-axis belts can cause all kinds of problems when they get out of whack including only moving in one direction.

I jsut double checked my belts and they seem all good

So I tried to swap the X and Y harness and the board and the X motor works fine in both directions but the Y only moves one way and wont move the other direction. So must be on the board? A setting or something?
I also tried adjusting the VREF on X but still nothing. Its strange that not only does it not move but makes no sound.

So I manually control the X in RH and it moves to the right but when I try to move it to the left, it doesnt move. It doesnt bind or anything, just doesnt make any sound, as if the motor isnt trying to move. But to the right.

In theory, no.  AZERATE is correct about that but some bearing rod combinations are just a little snug in the beginning.  All of this assuming you don't have something seriously out of alignment or a bent rod.

They should be. LM8UUs come shipped with 3-in-1 oil of some type...lithium grease is a no no for bearings since it is too think and constricts motion over time.
You made an awesome few upgrades simultaneously, so it will take some time to work out the kinks. Just have a little patience. No need to "break them in". It should be smooth motion, so this points to either a simple mechanical fix that is being overlooked (happens to us all big_smile), or the motor is failing. The latter is unlikely as you motor was working fine previously.

Turn the VREF back down on the X. If you keep forcing it to work at that setting, it can get hot enough to melt the left carriage.

Oh wow I had no idea about linear bearings and lithium grease! tongue So i wiped it off haha

So I turned my VREF on my X all the way down and nudged it higher and higher until its juuust able to move without binding. so I can move it manually, but when I start a print and moves into position, it binds near the center just for a instant. You can hear it in this vid i just took

I havent yet ran a full print yet, so Im not sure if it only happens in the start up. but Ill try run a full print and see if it happens during printing or just at a certain location
