clones maybe dont pre crimp like from ebay/amazon etc. thats just 1 of many short cuts they take plus not made in USA. thats why this venture is so much better. even if a bit more money than the clones. 'ounce of prevention = pound of cure'

Yes, you have to use the ferrules to connect the thermistor to the thermistor cable, but it stands to reason that a company offering preassembled hotends would be connecting the thermistor cable to the thermistor for you.

Very interesting and I hope you guys are able to help some people while also turning a profit for your time. Personally, I would be pretty reluctant to sell someone a pre-assembled E3D hot end because of the better than not chance that they mess it up while installing it and then blame you. For example, since you are not including wiring terminations, there's a pretty good chance of someone man handling it while attempting to crimp a connector onto the thermistor and causing a short due to unrestrained wires moving around. With a thermistor short, its pretty hard to tell whether it got shipped out with a little bit of frayed sleeving, or if it became like that during installation. I believe you guys would ship well assembled ones, but I'm surprised you are willing to take the risk for what could become a customer service nightmare.
