You might want to check your setup (clean melt filter nozzle, etc) as someone just reported 21"/minute with that material:

I ordered the above... I am getting excruciatingly slow extrusion at maybe 6 inch a minute. Ive tried 180-200 degrees to get 1.65mm

PA-746 is fairly common in filament.
Do keep in mind also that Sabic MG94 at $5/pound is going to be better quality than the $20 Amazon stuff.

Hah! I looked again at what I ordered. I missed that it as listed as PC ABS, a polycarbonite/ABS blend. The processing temp is listed at 475-525 F (246-274 C). No wonder I couldn't extrude it!

Googling the resin ID and comparing the MFR are a good first step.

Perfect! That's exactly what I needed, (as I obviously don't know what I'm looking for).

I got burned previously ordering some "virgin black abs for injection molding" without requesting specs and found it didn't extrude well at all (brittle and super slow extrusion at 180). Besides MG-94 and PA-746, is there anything else I be on the look out for?

I need some more ABS pellets and haven't bought any since OSPrinting a long time ago.

Anybody have recommendations beyond (or amongst) the ones listed on the pinned page to get them cheaply? The going rate seems to be about or above $5 per pound, which is higher than I was hoping for. With 2.2lb spools of finished filament now selling on Amazon for $20 shipped, the cost/benefit comparison isn't nearly as compelling as it once was, especially if I need to extrude twice to get uniform filament.
