			<description><![CDATA[<p>I used to have a lot of trouble with the PEEK J-Heads overheating and melting, so I drilled a hole in one of them and taped a type K thermocouple into it and monitored the temp with my multimeter.&nbsp; That would probably be the best approach if you are looking to get a second opinion on hot end temp.&nbsp; Also while heating my enclosure I taped the thermocouple so it would dangle near the nozzle so I could track the ambient temp at the print where it mattered.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Has anyone played with attaching a thermometer to the heater block for direct readings? Maybe drill a 2MM (or whatever) hole in the block to insert a cut down digital meat thermometer?</p>]]></description>
