I'm not sure it's infill.  I listen to it a few times, and I hear the buzz while it's printing the outer perimeter from left to right , then again as it's printing the back side from right to left, but only for the last half of the perimeter.

It might be bearing related, or it might be the "X" stepper motor (vref?).  I know mine sounds differently while printing the outer perimeter because it slows down.

Not only is it print, I'm printing with ABS.  I'm really happy with the lite6 so far. 

Everything seems to be working fine, however, I occasionally hear an weird rattling noise when it's printing.  Here's a video of the noise that I am walking about. The noise is at the 16 second mark. 

Anyone has an idea where that noise is coming from?

]]> Sun, 21 Feb 2016 03:05:51 +0000 https://www.soliforum.com/post/117084/#p117084 <![CDATA[Re: My SD2 Jigsaw Extruder]]> https://www.soliforum.com/post/116590/#p116590 I didn't install anything other than the SD2 drivers and RH.  As far as setting, the older version of RH from Solidoodle,com has the settings for the SD2 preloaded.  So I just saved the registry settings file, uninstalled the old version of RH, installed the latest version of RH, and ran registry file.  That way I didn't have to manually change the settings in RH.  I just selected SD2 from the list of printers in the settings page.

Here is my experience:
When I was looking for the firmware, I came across two different instructions, this one and this one.  I went with the latter since it had a later update date.

I downloaded and installed the firmware linked from the second webpage above.  I should have known something was wrong because when I was poking around in the configuration.h I noticed it was already setup for a SD3.  Both websites/instructions said the default setting should have been for a SD2.  Everything went fine until I connected the printer in Repeater Host.  No matter what I did, the temperature for the hotend was high.  I knew something was right when I disconnected the lite6 thermistor completely from the controller board and Repeater Host was still reporting the high temperature. 

At that point, I remembered the other website.  So I went back to that website and downloaded the firmware that was listed and made the change to TEMP_SENSOR_0 and uploaded it to the controller board.  I crossed my fingers and connected to the print with Repeater Host.  BINGO, success!!! I finally got a low temperature reading with the Semitec 104GT2 thermistor connected.  I should also point out the first firmware said beta whereas the second one I used didn't.  Let me know if you need more information.
