With regards to you reducing the print speed this should be very straight forward to do. In your slicer you should see a print speed parameter. Look out for something measured in mm/s. Usual print speeds range from 20mm/s to 150mm/s. You might want to try something around the 50mm/s print speed.

I have used IC3D with good results. I really like that brand but it is a bit more expensive. I have also used abs from www.filamentoutlet.com (through amazon free shipping with prime )

Its a bit cheaper and I haven't had any printing issues with it

for PLA I have ben using solutech

TPU I have used sainsmart

I've been testing new ABS and PLA setting for my Da Vinci 1.0 with HatchBox filament more than one month now and I can't seem to get any good prints. For small prints what are the best slicer settings? For large prints as well? I've read I should decrease the print speed for small prints, what does that mean? What setting is that? Is there an article that makes the settings easy to understand? I'm willing to learn as soon as possible, I just can't seem to find any info understandable to me.
