New to 3d so it took me a bit. Used the wires to clean mine, no good. It took unloading then reloading the filament to get it to work. Jammed up after abt 5 prints. No big deal to clear it now, but unload/reload filament was the key thing.

Docs didn't mention to unload/reload...

had several successful prints now it doesn't work
if I do "load catridge" it extrudes fine
start printing, nothing comes out.
I hear a chuck chuck chuck type noise
refed the filament a couple times

When I need to lower my bed I just start a print then cancel it.

To be honest, I wasn't aware PLA was affected by moisture till I looked it up.
Turns out it's more prone to problems than ABS !
What happens is the filament swells as it takes on water causing poor extrusion or jamming.
I had the same problem with some wood-based filament too. After drying it out, it's printing fine too.
Just shows the importance of storing your filament correctly and not just have it lying around.

For some reason, even though I'm subscribed to these topics, I'm not getting any notifications.

Anyway... I appreciate the reply, once again. I tried lowering the bed, as you suggested, 6 times, taking it in tiny increments each time, and I've had no luck with that. I never even considered a moisture issue, so perhaps I should check that out, myself. My filament is stored right next to an exterior wall, and I live in an old communist apt building in Prague, so the walls are concrete and plaster, so it's not exactly moister tight.

Sorry for late reply.
It's most likely the bed is too close to the nozzle in that part of the bed.
That would cause back pressure in the hotend causing your filament to swell and jam.
Try lowering the bed slightly by turning the screw closest to that part of the bed by about a quarter turn to the right.
Strangely enough, I've spent the past 2 days trying to solve a similar issue.
3 of my spools of PLA were all either jamming or not extruding properly causing gaps in my prints.
I stripped the extruder right down, checked and cleaned everything but no luck.
So I turned my attention to the filament itself thinking it might be moisture in the PLA.
Sure enough, I put the 3 spools in a drying cupboard overnight and they all now print great again !
I'll now be storing all my filament in sealed bags/tubs with silica gel bags inside.

I completely forgot about those wires! I'm heating up the extruder now, and I'll see if that helps. Thanks

UPDATE:

I cleared the jam, and started printing again. It jammed again, in the same place, and at roughly the same time. I considered the possibility that I was just asking too much of the printer (I was working on 4 items that took up nearly the entire print bed), so I started over, using half of the items, but they were (by default) positioned in the same place as before. Once again, it jammed when it got to this place. I'm not sure what's going on here, but my printer doesn't seem to like the left rear quarter (as I'm facing it) of my print bed.

I may have posted this too soon, as I'm about to try the same print again, but I'm going to try moving it to a different part of the bed, first.

If so, next thing I would try is using the little piece of wire that comes with the printer to clear the nozzle.
Heat up the extruder and push the wire up through the nozzle a few times till it feels clear then try unloading and reloading the filament.

I'm, quite literally, brand new to 3d printing, and I know, quite literally, virtually nothing about it, at all. I have owned a 3d printer for more than a year (a German RepRap Neo) but never got it to work for me, so now I'm using this Da Vinci AiO, which I've had for about a month, and it prints beautifully (from my limited perspective).

Unfortunately, being so new and knowing so little, there are (understandably, I think) many things that I do not know... Like, how to clear a filament jam without destroying my printer.

I was doing a print this morning, and about 25 minutes in (of a nearly 3 hour job, which is nothing new) I started hearing a clicking sound. When I got to the printer, I noticed that there was no longer any filament coming out of the extruder nozzle. I found some advice on another page here, but I'm hoping someone could give me the most simple and basic instructions possible (those that I found were just a bit too advanced for me) so I can deal with this.
