			<description><![CDATA[<p>I was using PLA regrind for the purge.&nbsp; From what I could find it was an issue with the regrind I was using.&nbsp; I think that the auger just bound up against the corner of the tube and started to push it away from the gearbox.&nbsp; I&#039;ll need to keep an eye on that once I have the system back up.</p><p>I&#039;ve decided to go with the an all Auminum custom housing on the rebuild and look forward to seeing how it goes.</p><p>Tim, Not sure about the stall protection board.&nbsp; Could you describe it?&nbsp; I put everything together and didn&#039;t have any other &quot;boards&quot; in the package.&nbsp; I&#039;ll get you thr exact unit number tomorrow.&nbsp; Also, I&#039;ve been looking everywhere for the switches you include in the kit to no avail.&nbsp; Could you point me in the right direction or sell me some from your stock?&nbsp; I like yours and want all of the switches to match on the new system.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>&quot;Designed to fail intentionally&quot; might have been a little strong. </p><p>Back when those were made, the shaft collar wasn&#039;t full clamping and there weren&#039;t stall protection boards so there was less in the way of protection if things go wrong. The current Filastruder uses an aluminum chassis, no reports of damaged gearboxes yet but it also has the aforementioned full clamping shaft collar and a stall protection (current limiting) board.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Be careful with that, those plates are designed to fail intentionally. If you replace the chassis with aluminum and the unit is assembled incorrectly or the shaft collar slips from not being tight enough, you&#039;ll destroy the gearbox instead. It isn&#039;t rated for the thrust loads at play here.</p><p>If you decide against the above, the DXFs are on Thingiverse.</p><p>Also, what are you extruding? That doesn&#039;t look like the ABS included with the kit?</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Sounds like the shaft collar slipped, allowing the feedscrew to drive backwards towards the motor, pushing out on the front lasercut pieces.</p><p>I can send new lasercut pieces but you&#039;ll have to figure out what caused it in the first place.</p>]]></description>
