Hi Guys,

Long story, but I'll give you the basics. Bought Simplify3D and have been using it successfully for a month. Every time I want to use a different machine, I would just select it from the configuration menu, and go.

Then two weeks ago, the extruder wheel would start stripping and clicking when I would load filament, or print something. I thought it was the new real of filament I had bought, and thought it clogged both extruders.

For the last two weeks, I have been stripping and cleaning both extruders, but after all that, same problem.

Last night I took a wild guess and fired up Repetier Host, and magic.... mm after mm going through the extruder loading procedure, no problems at all.

I didn't play with any of the settings, and have two different computers running my SD machines, so I have no idea why this is happening.

Does anyone know the print speed (in mm) that the SD's run at? I tried slowing the machines down in the "Other" "Machine Speed" option, but when I load, I still get the same issue. Too much back pressure and a lot of grinding.

Sent off a question to S3D, but have not heard anything from them.

Anyone had this issue/got an idea how to solve it?

-Skyler101
