I use one with my Solidoodle 2, to remote into and slice/run print jobs. It works great for this, especially since it has onboard WIFI. It's compact, only pulls 30 watts of power when its on (less than the bed heater of a SD2!)  and nearly silent - no fans, all passive cooling. Has wireless b/g, and gigabit ethernet.
