I have a Da Vinci 1.0. The extruder works because I can load filament into it and it goes right through. The problem is that when I send a print job, it acts like it's printing, but isn't. I've already checked and it's not in dry mode. What I have noticed is that the plate is not getting warm. Could it be that if the plate malfunctions, the extruder will not heat up either? I would think if it was running a series of tests and failed, it wouldn't even pretend to be printing. What gives? Any ideas would be appreciated. I'm so close... so close.

I should also mention that as soon as the print job starts, the temperature clearly stops dropping. I can watch it count down on the screen.

Thanks in advance!

-Craig
