Hey Guys,
I am new to the forum. I have been using a solidoodle gen 2 for a little over 2 years now. IT's been great, but I want to make it stand a lone. I have heard of people using panelolu2 and panelolu to upgrade the solidoodle 2. But I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the sainsmart lcd and sd card at the link below would also work. http://www.amazon.com/SainSmart-Control … rt+sd+card

I ask because this is less than half the cost of the panelolu, and free shipping. I have a Rev E motherboard. I'm sure it will take some fidgeting to get it working, I was just wondering if anyone here could tell me if it would work for certain. I called Solidoodle support this afternoon, and they recommended I post this question here. Hope that is okay. Thanks in advance for the help.
SM
