I am looking at to replace the teflon cubes on the axis rods with linear bearings. Does anyone know what size linear bearings to use an the 3d printed parts to go with the linear bearings? But frankly, before things break most of us have already printed upgraded versions of the carriages and extruder mounts...most thankfully to board member Lawsy:

The belts as supplied on the SD2 are MXL:

But again, you might as well upgrade to GT2 (For this you will also need GT2 pulleys) or fishing line as wardjr suggests...

That is why it is recommend that you print a set out and put them away for when they are needed.

If needed (printer broken & no parts to fix with), other community members are usually willing to lend a hand and print the needed parts.

As far as replacement printed parts just list what ones you need and someone will be willing to print them up for you.
