In theory you can run 3 to 4 heat beds off of that 1 transistor so long as they designed enough copper into the mainboard to carry the load. I run a 140 watt heat bed on my stock da vinci and it is fine.

I guess the only addition to what I have now then would be the fan on the E3D V6 which is 12v I believe.  I plan on repurposing the stock fan and using it as a cooling fan with one of the fan shrouds out there.

I probably don't need to make the move now unless I was cutting it to close for the stock one.  I suppose I could just wait until it goes.  smile

That's it, you will have a bunch of wires left over to do what ever you want with.

You will need cut and splice some of the connectors the printer uses onto the power supply. Otherwise it is a drop in fit. The connectors the power supply comes with will not connect to the board as these are technically modified PC power supplies.

It this a straight up replacement or is there is need to rewire things?  Are there any other recommendations?  I would like to keep the printer self-contained so I would like to have a power supply that fits inside.
