It looks for both devices to be present and connected at power up. You might can get away with disconnecting the heater, but the thermistor absolutely must remain attached even if you are not using that channel it still looks for it at power up since the firmware knows there should be two.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>As I was looking at my original stock print heads. It looks like I can totally take the second head off.&nbsp; Would that cause the printer to not print? I know this thing looks for everything on boot up and mine is basically stock. Just curious. I am so sick of the dragging of the second head. Its driving me nuts!</p>]]></description>
