You don't need a pass. Just use the manual method that is also a sticky here and never touch auto.

yes your stingy mess is due to the bed not being level. basically manually level it and then only do the auto level once to get it to pass.

Once it has passed then do the manual leveling from there on. The auto leveling in this is not functional and will only frustrate you.

All my money goes to she-that-must-be-obeyed. But last week i took the plunge and bought a DaVinci AoI printer-scanner.
Just like a replicator from Star Trek -right. Took it out the box and read & watched all the videos - all looked good.

Firmware based sample lion printed ok -- then I downloaded a T-rex from the gallery. It would not print. Figured out it was blocked extruder - fixed that and got a DINO.

Tried the scanner a small pig, didnt scan, A big pig didnt scan either and a basic piece of L shaped white plastic didnt scan either. I managed to scan a c-cell torch battery. Printed it, nothing but a big mess of filament.

Went back to print the firmware sample - and the nozzle is below the level of the table. If you try to "clean" from the menu - it bangs against the platform; It must be a good 2 cm off point. Reboot, unplugg - nothing. Doesn't this thing self-center, an £80 inkjet does that.

Everything on the videos/manual say do not calibrate -- and that seems minor adjustment anyway

Am I being dumb ? What next HELP!!!
