Instead of drilling out (4.5mm or 3/16" drill) and replacing with a rivet, you can replace with a M4 or 8-32 (or maybe even 10-24) bolt and nut. I found the rivets on my bed were a bit loose when I got the printer, and it made keeping the bed level impossible, so I replaced them all with M4's.

You should be able to get in from the sides to do this job, but ideally you should remove the bed and do the drilling etc. on a workbench. If you do, maybe worth swapping out all the rivets. I did, they were all a bit suspect on closer inspection!

I'm fairly certain you can jam a M2 screw and nut in and torque it down a bit.
I have experience removing and installing the SD2 platforms, but don't peg me as an expert on it.
Either way, it's a 70¢ gamble for a fix

Buy a pop rivet tool, some rivets which usually come with tool and reinstall the rivet.

Or just use a screw, nut, and washer.

Hi,

i just reconized that i broke my Aluminum Platform on the right side are 2 Nivet's one of them broke.

Dont Ask me how maybe when i carried it last month...

Any ideas how to Fix this?

At the store the Aluminum Platform for SD3 & SD4 is the same for SD2??? looks alike
