Thanks for the vote of confidence, though I still have my doubts about "production/industrial" capabilities :-). One of these days I need to get around to soldering the additional headers on the smoothieboard so I can hook up the motors and see if they turn and the stop switches and see if it notices them.

Well, it's not a complete BOM or a completely finished design, but here's my concept for what was the 3rd generation of the mapleMaker printers.

Specs:
14"x13"x12.5" build volume.
12"x12" heated build plate
Dual Bulldog XL (Or Lite) direct drive extruders
Dual Hexagon 1.75mm hot ends
12mm linear rods and bearings
8mm acme threaded rods and anti-backlash nuts
GT2 belts and pulleys
Kysan NEMA17 56oz steppers for all axis'
80/20 10-Series aluminum extrusion structure with acrylic panels
RepRap Duet with expansion board, or Smoothieboard 5X
Raspberry Pi 2 for on-board slicing/wireless printing
7" HDMI Touch panel LCD for on-board slicing/control
Raspberry Pi Camera for remote monitoring
USB/HDMI breakouts on rear of chassis
IGUS cable carriers on all axis
Meanwell LRS-350 12V 30A PSU
Easily removable Y axis for shipping transportation
Quick disconnects on all harnesses
Removable extruder tool head, swap out for future upgrades (mill, laser etc)

The design is mostly complete, only the mounts for the LCD panel remain. The design was done on and off for the last 2 months or so. I've partially abandoned it for the time being, having moved on to designing a larger (much larger) coreXY machine instead. I'll eventually post everything up on www.maplemakermedia.com though

Cheers

Ryan
