Thanks for sharing (all nine times). This is not a mod for the inexperienced or faint of heart. I have been running mine for well over two years. I still would caution anyone considering this mod. Do your homework and be sure you understand the risks.

I replaced mine with a 120v heater pad and a solid state relay to run it. Of course, I did also have to update my firmware with the proper PID settings to make the temperature rock steady.

My heated bed broke a month ago, since then i have contacted Solidoodle but they are not receiving any spare heated bed.
Is there a compatible heated bed i could buy on internet.
