It's pretty easy to get regular RH working with your solidoodle, and the solidoodle version of RH has no tweaks other than the default printer profile.

Just write down the communication settings from the solidoodle version, and put them into the new version. Once it connects and talks to the printer you're golden.

Sorry, I'm a little out of the loop on all this, but trying to get my SD2 going on my new Win10 PC. I downloaded RH 0.8.4 (?) from the Solidoodle site and got it connected to the machine with a little tweaking. I thought it was kind of important to use the Solidoodle-tweaked release over the general one, but obviously the general one is much farther along. Does 1.5.4 from RH's own site need any tweaking to work with the SD2?

I'm also assuming that SoliPrint is still only for the newest SD model(s) and doesn't yet support the older ones? Is that right? Should we stick with RH?

I have this same issue, however this was also present for me in some w8 prints. The solution was to click a button to turn the heatbed on and off. It immediately resumes printing

This is quite worrisome however because you have to babysit your print since you never know when it might just hang up.

Just saw the same thing in RH 1.5.4 on Win 10. RH did not hang, but there was no motion on the printer, and no printer status being logged. At 30(?) seconds, it picked up where it left off and finished the (20 minute) print.
