Hi AZERATE,

Thank you for your help I spent the whole week end and you were totally right !!! The E VREF was the main issue. I still have some more adjustment to do. I really appreciate your help. I will post some screenshot tomorrow.

I am using Repetier and Slic3r but I am moving to simplify3D. The main reason of this change is that I have tried Colorfabb Wood filament with original Solidoodle Extruder and I broke it (Hot clog).

My goal is to print without risk Colorfabb Wood, Color Fabb Copper and Flexible Filament.

Ok...first off you are snagging the nozzle on previous layers that have cool, causing it to skip. This is the shift you see.
*Calibrate your extruder. Even if you already have, check it once more. Overextrusion can cause blobs which, once cooled, can snag the nozzle.
*Adjust the E VREF on your board. This will also help fight moire
*Try giving a little more distance between the bed and the nozzle. I can't tell if it is too close or if is masked from the other symptoms.

Feel free to post screenshots of your settings. If it is a software setting, one of us should spot it quickly.

Hi everyone,

I have updated my solidoodle 2 pro with E3D v6 HotEnd. After doing all the mounting I start to do some priting and I am unable to do a correct print.

As you can see on the image below, the cube on the right was done with original SD extruder. On the left part, the results I now obtain with E3D Hot end.

I have no idea what is wrong with m printer I have tried several things such as modifying extrusion width, extrusion multiplier but I still have this issue.

I have two ideas:

too much filaments are going out from the extruder and it starts to make big spots
the z axis is not correct

As anyone faced this kind of issue ?

Thanks for your help
