Sounds like you have an intermittent wire on your x axis stepper. Mine did the same thing. It would also randomly skip steps during a print and shift everything to one side. I zip tied my wire around the z axis stepper to temporarily fix it. This also takes the strain of the connector on the stepper. If this works for you I would plan on replacing the entire wire down to the motherboard. The wire solidoodle used on these is crap and cannot take repeated flexing.

Ok, so I've had my press for about 4 months now, and after some initial quirks were fixed it worked really well, until about a month ago. So what will happen is that it will home Y and X just fine, then the extruder assembly moves over to the ramp along one of the edges and the Z-axis endstop ejects, but it no longer moves away from the edge after ejection, and subsecuently the printerbed will not hit the endstop and crash into the nozzle. I'll attach a video of it.

I've reflashed the newest firmware, reinstalled the drivers, tried using Soliprint 1.2.3, RH and Simplify 3D, but the issue persists. Solidoodle support thought it might be a wire sheath issue (it's not as I've had that issue earlier but fixed it with a ziptie) and that the trimpots may be needing adjustments, but I've already adjusted them.

Anyone experiencing the same thing or know what's causing the issue?
