3D Printers are not desktop printers. They do make noise. Although I have to admit a stock Da Vinci is one of the loudest. But just think of it as singing its praises to its new master.

The sound in the beginning sounds like a stepper motor,  but then when it moves up and down rapidly,(calibrating)?? it sounds like a small kazoo, or one of those things you blow in while moving a slide in and out lol. I have sent a note to xyz  printing, asking about the printer sounds...I'll post their reply.

Because that is the sound of the Stepper Motors...Which move the printers components...... Saying can you turn the sound off is like  saying can you turn the sound of a Car's combustion engine off and expecting it to drive or work.
