Also I live in Arizona and moisture wont be a problem (Arizona is very hot and dry if you didn't know lol) so an open printer isn't a problem for me. Printing speed doesn't matter either and I am probably going to get an E3D V6 hotend for it. The reason why I posted this thread was to see if there were other printers in my price point that would be good so I would have some options. Carl the reason why I want a different printer than the Da Vinci is because of the problems I have been having with it and trying to fix it, I'm sure I can get it to print amazingly but atm I am just frustrated with it. The middle of the bed is always higher than the sides of it and the new glass didn't help, all the sides are even but the middle is never the same. I suspect that I may need to replace all the rods from it and I fear that is that isn't the problem I just wasted all that money trying to fix it. So now I am selling it on ebay to make some money to buy the Robo. What I want to do with the printer is just to make some great prints and to sell them at school for some extra money (I'v made over $50 in 1 week from printing with the Da Vinci using the corners of its bed and not in the middle to print 3D pokemon for people, but now I can't make anything bigger due to the middle)

ArcticWolf_11 wrote:

yeah I have but I think the robo is better than it if im not mistaken

You need to look passed the shell. Look at the modfing community or lack of. If there is one, chances are the machine is not so good stock or is just too new. Look at the bearings, look at the rods, look at the logic and firmeare, look at the frame under the shell. How ridgid is it. I'm not sure why you are moving away ftom the Da Vinci. Now that I got rid of the stock board and installed a RAMPS 1.4 with Marlin firmware the machine is so quite I have to check to ser if it is running from ten feet away. The prints are coming out beautiful. I am still going to get an E3D light simply to remove the final XYZ demon from the machine. But for the price of 400 bucks and about 200 in mods for a total of 600 it has become on of the best machines I have had and is printing as good or better than a 3000 dollar makerbot and is not limited to PLA like that makerbot is.
