PVA in the glue stick is what makes it work. Since that is my only experience I can say that you want the bed covered rather well. I would try the PVA without the water. Maybe the Kapton is causing the issue since I print directly on glass.

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried different temperatures and it seems that I need to go quite high extruder temp to get proper layer bonding (260oC - probably not accurate because the thermistor table is for da vinci original and I'am using the one that came with e3d) but I'am still having some trouble getting the prints to stick to the bed OK. I tried the glue stick but it's probably not the right kind because it provides only moderate level of adhesion. I also tried using PVA dilute water solution with even worse results. How thick should the layer of PVA be? Should I apply it with a paint brush without diluting it with water?

15 degrees (maybe more) hotter than your normal ABS settings for the extruder.
Bed temp at 105-110
Glue stick will be your friend with Bridge or any other nylons.
Even if it is brand new, nylon absorbs moisture very quickly. Find a way to dry it before you try it.

Hi, I'am running Da Vinci 1.0 with Rep firmware and e3d mod. I have been successfully printing with ABS, PLA-PHA, Woodfill, XT. I'am about to try Taulman Bridge. Someone with a similar setup - what temperature extruder/bed should I use? Also, my print-bed is covered with Kapton, I rather not remove it, should I just apply some dilute PVA, let it dry and then print? Any advice is welcomed.
