Noob alert!

I don't think the firmware was set up in configuration.h. A friend who uses arduino a lot (I don't) flashed the firmware and I don't think he set it up for solidoodle, leaving the reprap settings.

I can find setting to set it up for reprap, but not solidoodle.

Could someone be so kind as to upload their configuration.h file please? I think I could manage to flash that now.

Note that you should adjust baud rate in Repetier Host, not device manager. I believe the default is 250,000 in Marlin.

If the baud rate is incorrect, sometimes it doesn't matter, sometimes it won't connect, and sometimes it connects and you get odd behavior. It should match whatever the firmware says it is (check configuration.h).

Fried a Sanguinololu board so upgraded to Arduino 2560 and Ramps 1.4 shield.

Got the board assembled and wired up, flashed firmware, installed software and drivers as in this guide http://goo.gl/zpx7Lj , but can't get it to work with Repetier Host at all.

RH says it's connected, but none of the axis move and neither the bed or hot end heat up.

I'm definitely more of a hardware guy than a software guy, so struggling with the software side a bit.

Any ideas?

p.s. see attached pics. I'm particularly proud of my zip-tied cables for optimal airflow and aesthetics. I also labelled the cables to make it easier to assemble, as well as the usual replacing of connectors. Uses Lawsy's mount.
