use a little 3-in-1 oil on the rods and work the bearings back and forth thru it, they should loosen up a bit. Ours were a bit stiff initially as well. after a little oil on the rods they run very smoothly now.

I do wipe the rods down periodically to remove dust & other debris and re-oil - but we live on a dirt road so dust is a big issue - even with the windows closed!

I hate the bare metal look when I could have something a little more festive.

had a set back as i installed the lm8uu bearings i noticed some of the ball bearings popped out fortunately i have spares but im a tad disappointed

I'll take photos of everything and let you guys see how it goes right now i'm going to spray the case
