I used acetone to soften the bits of old adhesive on the bed, and to prep the bed for the new pad.

[EDIT] I didn't use acetone on the pad, since I had a new pad. No idea if it's safe for the pad.

But if you check the wires on your heating pad and try the adhesive spray u think you would get some good results!

OK so I can no longer get my heated bed up to 100 degrees. Weirdly though, when I touch it, it actually feels hotter than it used to. So I had a look under the bed, and the pas is peeling away from the aluminium. There is a triangular area about 3 inches on each side which has come unstuck. That's presumably only going to get bigger.

So what's the best method for re-sticking it?
