if you're going to use wardjr's chimera/cyclops mount you will need to swap to lawsy's carriages anyway because it's unlikely you can recover the X rods (they're glued in to the stock carriage... or should be). it's a serious improvement and worth the trouble.

Thanks for the info guys. I will start printing and prepping for the change over. And probably get the legend pack.

From pictures of the SD4 and the WBA i am assuming other than the board and the extruder carriage itself that they are pretty much the same format. Meaning that the lawsy will work with the WBA without any additional mods.

I would add that after getting the cyclops dialed in. I fail to see the benefits of dual nozzles when one will do the same thing. Actually there are several reasons to have two so just buy the legends package. You'll have the best of both worlds.

The thing that confuses me about the WB and WBA is Solidoodle always says not to leave one of their hotends at temperature if its not being used. I and several others have definitely found out this is an easy way to get a clog with burned ABS in the nozzle. With a dual extruding setup you will see clogs pretty often--unless you use an all-metal hotend of course. Wardjr has already made a mount for the chimera as well, which is compatible with Lawsy's carriages.

OK I will look into it. A quick search I found it and it does look like a better option with the same benefits and then some. Anything is better than the stock to be honest though.
