I had the same happen to me as well. I did all the above suggestions to no avail. I noticed that the platform for the bed was wonky front left was lower than the rest. I attempted to "assist it in the other direction and noticed play in the rivits of the assembly. So I went to home depot and found screws and nuts that would make it a very tight fit. While I had the whole carrage assembly apart I also noticed that the barrings were rotatable with in the "holder". Before I reassembled every thing I made sure the barrings were straight and even. Once everything was put back together there was no chatter while going down nor up and the bed platter was closer to being level as well. Give it a go!

BobMcBobGuy,

are do you using a spray or something like this on the bed? I have the same problem when I do use spray . I think that the problem is for this, because the product is on the z screw or on other parts . you can later to put lube on this parts and will see to get better on this.

I've had a problem recently where the bed is vibrating extremely bad when the bed is moving down. I'm using a Solidoodle Workbench, unmodified, and I've yet to find a similar problem on the forums. If anyone has any idea of what could be the case, help would be greatly appreciated.
