The best bang for your buck is probably a RAMPS setup with 1/32 microstepping drivers. I like the RUMBA, like a lot, but if you throw in DRV8825 drivers, it's about $120 - not exactly cheap.

So, I was wondering if there is a low cost board that would work with the Press.  It doesn't have to interface with Soliprint since I use Repetier Host anyway, but of course it needs to have the firmware for the bed leveling. 

I know the Press is new, but has anyone swapped out their board?  Or at least is familiar enough with 3D printers to have an educated guess as to what might work?
