I have a SWA as well. I recommend using RH. I would even say do not use the one that Solidoodle has as it is an older version. Get the latest one and input the information supplied by SD for the parameters.

SoliPrint does not yet fully support dual extruders. We are working on it and hopefully releasing it soon. For now we recommend using our Repetier Host installer which will come preconfigured for all models: http://support.solidoodle.com/hc/en-us/ … l-Software

Also see these two articles on adjusting offsets:
http://support.solidoodle.com/hc/en-us/ … er-Offsets
http://support.solidoodle.com/hc/en-us/ … -SoliTouch

You can calibrate in Soliprint but updating to RH's latest version is a good idea.
Either way steps per mm is an EEPROM thing so find that in Soliprint. Then extrusion multiplier is a slice software adjustment so look around Soliprint you'll find something similar.

Can I do this in soliprint or do I have to do it in RH. If it's RH I might have to update because when I first got swa RH wouldn't show 2 extruders

Your adhesion issues can be addressed through proper calibration of the extruders and a level bed at the proper height.
Check the WIKI for how to adjust steps per mm and extrusion multiplier. As far as the bed goes you want that first layer to go down like a flat ribbon on glass with Aqua-Net extreme hold. If you are having issues getting the hot ends up to temp you should address that first. Start with a PID auto tune (also in the WIKI) then focus on the wires and connections (even at the PSU).

Have swa, haven't printed with both at same time yet. Both extruders heat up at same time automatically when you use soliprint. I have always been told not to leave extruder on without printing for long periods of time when printing with my sd2 because filiment will harden in extruder . Am I creating future problems when do figure out how to print using 2 colors. I've tried turning off manually the extruder I'm not using but one heating up individually takes forever and hasn't ever completely heated to 215 c. Causing lifting /sticking problems. I have a few more questions I will address later after this one is resolved. I've tried hairspray, kapton tape and PEI. Thnx.
