			<description><![CDATA[<p>You dont really need a multimeter. Just find the two wires that are touching. Worst case is the wires are touching in the hot end in the RTV. You will have to remove the RTV and fix the wires</p>]]></description>

I know my spelling is terrible by the way.</p></blockquote></div><p>One of the wires on your thermistor is exposed and shorting to the brass heat block or both wires are exposed and shorting together. The later is most likely. </p><p>As a thermistor heats up its resistance drops and the machine reads this dtop as a rise in temp. If the wires are shorted together there will be nearly no resistance and the machine thinks it is way over temp.</p>]]></description>
