			<description><![CDATA[<p>FWIW you can still get a Rumba from MakerFarm (based in Utah, USA) - doesnt come with all the extras that RRD had, but not a bad deal and customer service is outstanding. </p><p>but yeah, would be interested in hearing what is happening at RRD in regards to the Rumba...</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Heard back from them.</p><p>Apparently there is an issue with the Bootloader they were using, and are looking to make some changes. No word on when they will return but I&#039;ll let you know once I get an update. They pulled them because they didn&#039;t want to upset any customers with any issues.</p><p>In other news, they aren&#039;t keen on doing any new designs because there is just no money in it anymore ..which is a bit sad to hear. Gotta make money to be able to run a business though, so I do understand.</p><p>Will update further when have more details. So they aren&#039;t discontinued yet, just not available while they fix some software issues.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Sanguish - if you in the USA, you can order a board at Makerfarm.com (based in Utah). He doesnt offer all of the extras that RRD did (full wiring kits, extra thermistors, etc), but the customer service is stellar.</p><p>But then again - you may want to wait until we find out what is going on in regards to the Rumba at RRD... there has to be a&nbsp; reason for them being pulled and I am curious as to what it is.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Looking at reprapdiscount, they have a kit</p><p>RUMBA Big Box with Smart LCD controller, Endstops, MK2B Heatbed, 1 wiring set - capable of 24V- 1 x RUMBA board(black) ($165)<br />RUMBa<br />- MK2B Dual Power<br />- 6 A4988<br />- SmartLCD incl 4gb SD card<br />- 3 GT2 Belts and Pulleys (have)<br />- Set of Hall Endstops<br />- Set of Mechanical Endstops<br />- 2 x EPCOS 100K thermistors (have in heater and E3D)<br />- 1 x Ceramic screwdriver<br />- 1 x 40x40mm Fan</p><p>I already have some of these items, and don&#039;t intend to replace the header with this bad (using the e3D Silicone instead)</p><p>Is this the best value?</p><p>Still trying to find the appropriate stepper motors to replace all mine.</p><p>Finding a US supplier for the exact steppers is tough one. Any suggestions? That Nema 17 is tricky (same with finding fan for it)</p><p>I really want the power controlled fans I think... especially on the [[[[[[</p>]]></description>

(undecided between this &amp; the E3D as being the next project)<br />- direct y drive (with bearings, not the bushings)<br />- GT2, or maybe fishing line - after the stock belts are pretty much done.</p>]]></description>
