Just be sure to clean it completely of all the existing grease if not usingnyhe same as factory. Cross-contamination can cause the new grease to harden up and contribute to seizing etc.

So clean up the rods well and make sure to get as much deposits out from the bushes as possble - thin paper curled around the rods and then the carriage and bed slid over it can mostly assist here if not disassembling the carriages..

Oh and don't over grease them.. A thin coat is more than enough and excess attracts dust and other contaminants.
