PLA filament is one of the most popular materials to print with, and for a reason! It is a harmless, good-looking due to the semi-transparency and strong material, and it is biodegradable. I often buy PLA filament from Amazon.

I started using Siddament (https://siddament.com.au/), its local to me and I can pick it up if "I want it now"... The prices are good too and quality seems really good so far.

Most of the time I buy from local suppliers because it saves on shipping costs. I also get online, because sometimes there is a Sale. Last weekend I bought three rolls of marble pla filament from SUNLU, there is a Flash Deal.

IMHO buy locally manufactured material
there are plenty of usa manufacturers of value priced quality filament

I order off Amazon and one brand called Paramount exclusively. All of their colors have a Pantone number which means the color will never vary from roll to roll or batch to batch.

I have begun buying more and more of the Inland brand filament from Microcenter - both ABS and PLA
Quality is quite reasonable for the cheap price of $14.99 a spool.

If you buy Hatchbox PLA from Amazon, you've probably noticed it sells out often. I found: www.megalowmart.com stocks most of the colors for about the same price, good to check if Amazon is out!
