Full-Metal T-2000 by the OTT FAMILY

the full metal T-2000 is one inventor's inspired innovation on the newly popularized and wildly growing world of 3D printing.
where as most 3D printers print one form of plastic or another, the T-2000 will print in FULL-METAL!

don't be confused by those which print with metal clay which needs to be fired in a kiln and the end product looks junky.

with the T-2000, you get the same high definition you'd get with PLA or ABS, but in a strong reliable METALS such as copper or aluminum!

this is no TOY! the T-2000 is going to be THE 3D printer of choice for enthusiats and hobbist alike. NOT only that, but it will have great value to many industrial entities as well.

as an homage to our favorite anime, FullMetal Alchemist, we've adopted as our logos; the Flamel as a sign of Changing one thing into another at will. and the Ouroboros for its symbolism in perpetual regeneration as the FULL METAL T-2000 will be capable of reproducing EACH of its own parts.

whether you want to print a new chess board with copper versus aluminum rather than black vs white, or you need to design a specific trophy for a local hometown event, the T-2000 is what will make it happen.

with years of study into metalurgy and practical mechanics. my team and I wish to present to the world the next generation of 3D printing, lightyears ahead of the others.

with various options and upgrades, we plan to eventually add support for other metals, such as gold, silver,  iron and steel.

Risks and challenges

to start, we need the workspace and materials. beyond that, as we will be working hard, we've set our completion date (around summer 2016) far enough out to stave off most unforeseen problems. we know with certainty, we will be able to print in Copper and Aluminum, we still would like to up our game to include Gold, Silver and even Iron if at all possible.
We will be making YouTube videos to show our progress and video capture some of our experiments with some more exotic materials."
