The filament I received wasnt consistent and my nozzle keeps getting plugged. Hope the new role from microcenter fixes the issue.

I'm having a hard time figuring out if it's the hot end or the filament that sux. I'm leaning toward the material, but don't have any other filament to experiment with at the moment...

I have made a few really good parts, but most of my prints fail because of hot end issues. At times the motor will make a thump sound and skip steps, like it doesn't have the power to move the filament. When this happens I can usually crank the heat up to about 265 and it will start to push the material again. I've been thru the typical initial fixes, trimpot, grub screw, z height calibration....
