The issue was with the alignment of the gear in the extruder, As I had removed it to tighten the grub screw. The alignment was not right.
Align it properly and you are good to go.

I have been facing this problem of the extruder drive rocking back and forth. Initially it was the grub screw that was loose.
I tightened it using a 1.5 allan key, but the problem still persisted.
I have also checked the continuity of the wiring, and that is fine too.
IS there something that i am doing wrong!
Kindly advice.

P.S. The printer worked when i got it and after a couple of prints failed.
